After a huge array of engineering, programme, supply chain, commercial and resource challenges we are proud to announce the project began receiving and firing on waste in the period. Neil Young Brockwell’s COO commented “It has been a herculean effort by the entire team, considering the status of the project only 12 months ago, we took on a partially built plant, with the spine of a team and a number of distressed subcontractors. However, we added to the team, retained and incentivised them and methodically worked though all of the challenges. I’m hugely proud of the team, their dedication and commitment to the cause has been first class. We will keep pressing on the last stages of commissioning and testing and expect to be into full operations early 2024”.
